“Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.” ~ Luke 6:38

I can’t.
I’m too busy.
I’m overbooked.
I’m too stressed.

Can’t you find somebody else?

I think we’ve all found ourselves uttering these words at one time or another.  Sometimes we really are too busy.  But I think sometimes we haven’t really looked at what it is we’re so busy with.  Are we really doing things that are necessary?  Or are we busy for busy’s sake?  Could we reduce some of the load in one area, to make room for doing good in another?

The book of Luke says that it will be given to us as we give.  How much are we really giving today?
