How would you answer this question?

What things, activities, emotions, attitudes, desires, dreams, professions, goals, hopes, or wishes define you?

Can you buy identity?  I think we often try.  Can you work for it?  I think we often do.

If everything extraneous that surrounds you in your life were stripped away – home, job, location what would be left?

“But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people belonging to God, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light.” ~ I Peter 2:9

Strange to think that removing all the things that we traditionally define ourselves with might just leave us with the very best of all – our identity in Christ.
