“Whoever can be trusted with very little can also be trusted with much, and whoever is dishonest with very little will also be dishonest with much.” ~ Luke 16:10

How, exactly, do view what God has given you in life right now?

Do you look down your nose at your life, peering over the fence at what your neighbor has, wishing for more?  Do you scoff at the responsibilities you have, thinking if you just had more to take care of, you’d do better than you’re doing now?

Or do you realize that God has entrusted you with things He considers very valuable, and that He is watching to see what it is you do with what you’ve been given?

Look around you right now.  God has placed you right where you are for a specific reason.  You’ve been given responsibilities – maybe some are big, maybe some are small – and God wants you to use the opportunities you’ve been given.

Whatever your attitude toward your life, keep in mind that you will be required to give an account to the King about how you invested into the opportunities He offered you.  Make the most of every minute, no matter how different you think your life should be.  God is trusting you with a little here on earth, hoping to trust you with much, much more in eternity.
